As a teacher, I strive to create an environment where every student feels welcomed, valued, and supported, while also trying to instill a life-long love of learning and curiosity…especially in the area of Social Studies!
I graduated from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) in 2014 with a B.A. in Elementary Education K-8 and Special Education P-12. Shortly thereafter, I began my teaching career at Bell Elementary, in Kirkland, WA where I taught 1st grade and 5th grade from 2014-2019. In 2018, I completed my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in addition to obtaining Middle Level Humanities teaching credentials.
I have been with TMS since we opened in the Fall of 2019, and have loved absolutely every minute of it! I feel very lucky to work with such incredible students and staff members every day.
Mrs. Kubej loves: non-fat white mochas with no whipped cream, Cheez-It Snack Mix, and Kit-Kats.
