Micha grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from John Brown University with her Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood. She has lived in the Seattle area since 2000 and has been a substitute teacher, a Montessori teacher, an accounts payable coordinator and a stay-at-home mom. Micha began teaching again as a substitute teacher for LWSD in 2018 and discovered how much she enjoyed middle school students that she added Middle School Humanities to her list of endorsements. She moved back into the classroom in 2020 and has enjoyed working with 6th graders as they begin their middle school career. Micha has also coached track and cross country during her time at Timberline. “I am excited to be part of Timberline as I have seen first-hand the culture that is created between the administration, staff, students and community here. I count it a privilege to be part of a great team.”
