Casey Clark
6th & 7th Grade Science

Prior to becoming a teacher, Casey worked at the Columbus Zoo in the animal programs department. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Geology and Geophysics from The Ohio State University and a master’s in education from Boston University. Casey has taught high school Biology at Lawrence High School in Lawrence, Massachusetts for the last two years and worked to create positive relationships with his students and their families. At Lawrence High School, he ran the school’s drumline and worked to integrate NGSS practices into the school’s science curriculum.

Casey shared, “I am very excited to join the Timberline Middle School Team! As a science teacher, I want to provide students with an engaging, rigorous, and meaningful science experience in the classroom. I want students to leave my classroom with a deeper understanding of science, 21st century skills, and the curiosity to learn more about the world around them. I am passionate about building a classroom community through social-emotional practices that encourage the growth and development of all students. I take pride in the relationships that I build with students and their families, and I cannot wait to create meaningful connections in the Timberline Middle School community this year.”
