"I am so thankful to be able to start my teaching career at such a fantastic and special middle school, this will be my second year at Timberline. I decided to become a teacher because I have always had a passion for being a mentor and helping others grow to become better professionals. I also hope to create a caring and supportive community within my classroom highlighting equity and inclusion. No matter what your identity is, everyone is safe and welcome in my science class. I have studied a lot of science throughout my career focusing on biology, physics, anatomy/physiology, and sports medicine. My goal as a science teacher is for every single one of my students to find something in the world of science that they can appreciate and develop a passion for."
