Julia has 16 years of experience teaching middle school science in Washington and 9 years in LWSD. Julia is a National Board Certified Teacher since 2010 and received her Masters in Teaching from the University of Oregon. She teaches 7th and 8th grade science at TMS. Her specialties include Earth & Environmental Sciences, Problem-Based Service Learning in our local environment/community, and is the TMS Advisor of the Green Team Environmental Club.

Julia shared, “It’s been quite the adventure building this school from the ground up, and in such a unique year for the entire world. I’m so glad that I’ve been on this adventure with the best group of students, staff, and community – I wouldn’t have wanted to do this with anyone else! I can’t wait to continue to connect students to the world around them and help them build the happy futures they want.”
