Hello Timberline! I originally hail from the small town of La Conner and attended the University of Washington for my undergraduate studies. I began my teaching career in Caldwell, Idaho, teaching and supporting students with moderate-severe disabilities. I completed my master’s in teaching from Boise State University at the same time. I then jumped on over to Inglewood Middle School where I continued to teach special education for the past 6 years as well as co-teach various Language Arts and Math classes, serving as the Head Basketball and Soccer coach. I have two young children of my own that keep my wife and I quite busy.
As I enter my 10th year in Education, I know that all kids want to be successful, and that all kids are good kids. I hope to support students as they navigate the opportunities and challenges that these formative years will present. I am thrilled and full of gratitude that the Timberline Community has welcomed me into their family. I look forward to getting to know and care for the kids and families that walk through our doors.
