I have been an educator since 2016 and have previously taught 5th Grade and 3rd Grade at Redmond Elementary until 2024. Having an elementary teaching lens helps shape my experience as a middle school teacher, ensuring that I meet all my learners’ needs and solidifying my commitment to student growth.

I live in my hometown of West Seattle with my husband, daughter, 2 cats, and dog. My students will most likely hear a lot about my daughter, Josie. Finally, I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the University of Washington. Go Dawgs!
