Tonya Erickson has been with the Lake Washington School District for 18 years, teaching Language Arts and Social Studies at Inglewood and Kirkland Middle Schools. Tonya received her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Washington and Master's in Secondary Education from Western Washington University. Tonya received her National Board Certification in 2004 in Social Studies/ History and renewed her certification in 2013. Tonya loves building a culture of reading and an excitement for learning in her classroom. 

Tonya shared, “I am so excited to be a part of the new Timberline Middle School. Middle school is where my heart is. I am thrilled to be a part of the building of new, exciting school, with a focus on things I value. I want to build a love of learning in students that will take them through life, and, at the same time, build the skills they need to be successful students in high school and college. "
