Timberline Middle School students Nylah Batshoun and Vedika Devarajan have been selected to receive the prestigious National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Outstanding Achievement Award.

Only six middle school teams from Washington state qualified for the VEX Robotics World Championship. Five of those teams were made up of students from Lake Washington School District.

A trio from Timberline Middle School has passed the challenge and is being rewarded for it. Elijah Diwakar, Akash Misra and Adithya Parthasarathy have been named the Washington state champions in the 2025 You Be The Chemist Challenge®, a prestigious national STEM competition organized by the Chemical Educational Foundation.

LWSD high school and middle school teams had an impressive showing at the recent Washington Science Olympiad State Tournament at Central Washington University.

Five middle school teams with Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students qualified for the 2025 VEX IQ Challenge at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, Texas, May 6-14.
