Five VEX IQ teams with LWSD students to compete at world competition
Five middle school teams with Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students qualified for the 2025 VEX IQ Challenge at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, Texas, May 6-14.
Teams complete several challenges during a VEX-IQ robotics competition. Some involve rotating drivers, others require the robots to stack colored rings according to color. The hardest is the autonomous challenge. The team cannot drive its robot. The robot uses programming languages and an array of sensors to guide itself.
